It’s never good news when a game is delayed. Even if it IS for good reasons.
In a recent tweet, the game devs declared their mission of quality as the reason for delay.…Continue

It’s finally here and I like it.
Sure Jim Carrey “stole the show”, but that little blue fuzzball actually looks better animated and his size comparison to humans is perfect.
We will obviously be keeping you updated on…Continue
Well here it is. The newest DC flick. I ask myself how a movie can be made about a comic book villain without the hero. DC answers with "make the villain a..good...guy?"
Ok, maybe not "good", but definitely misunderstood and pitiful.
This seems to be how it worked with the Suicide Squad. Make the audience think that the…Continue

Turtle Rock Studios has announced that they are going back to what “made them” and are going to give us a “spiritual successor” to Left 4 Dead. It’s not Left 4 Dead 3, it is a brand new IP. Valve owns Left 4 Dead.
This game is called Back 4 Blood.…Continue

It started out exciting. A new Marvel game!
But then I realized that the graphics looked "meh". There is no way that THIS was a product of Square Enix.
The reason is that it's not.
It's actually published by Nintendo themselves and developed by Team Ninja (Ninja Gaiden series, Dead or Alive series).

Sony has finally given us a full games list of what to expect on their upcoming Playstation Classic.
It's launching on December 3rd and is priced at $100. I'm not quite sure that it's really worth it, especially with my stance on "retro" being pre-CD games.
Here is the full list:
Grand Theft Auto
Battle Arena Toshinden …Continue
PlayStation has surprisingly entered the retro gaming console arena with the PlayStation Classic.
As expected, it's quite smaller than the original and is fueled by emulation.
It will come with 20 games, 5 of which they've already announced.
- Final Fantasy 7
- Jumping Flash
- Ridge Racer Type 4
- Tekken 3
- Wild Arms
Now, I grew up with the PlayStation and can say that I'm not excited about the games…Continue

It's a new Samurai Showdown game. Samurai Spirits is what the series is called in Japan, and it seems this may be a reboot of sorts with them just not using the "Showdown".
It's been ages since we've seen a new Samurai Showdown game and this one looks fantastic.

In an effort to continue their close relationship with fans, Fortnite has added a feature that was actually a "meme" change.org petition made to mock the actual desire to have it.
That petition was to add the ability to thank the bus driver.
You know, the person who essentially delivers 99 people to their deaths.
Who. The hell. Cares.
That's like thanking the revolver in a game of Russian Roulette.
I'm sure that there are plenty of other…Continue

I just heard about World War 3 today, after seeing that they released a "pre gamescon" gameplay video.
Here it is:
Just a few things to say.
First, holy rip off. I understand that many FPS's take from each other, but c'mon. How long before a lawsuit on this?
That aside, it looks like Battlefield 3 without destructible…Continue

A number of indie games have been revealed for the Nintendo Switch and it's pretty impressive.
Keep in mind, I'm not a big fan of most indie titles, and I'm even less of a fan of the Nintendo Switch.
The highlight video below has changed my mind. Yeah, you'll notice a common genre of many of the titles, but it doesn't matter. There are some great looking games coming and it's actually refreshing.
Watch the video and listen to this week's podcast, or…Continue

Nintendo Labo is the cardboard craze that lets you build peripherals for your Switch. So far, you can build a robot suit, or a number of little contraptions like a remote control, piano, and fishing pole depending on the kit you buy.
And now, Nintendo has upped their game and is releasing a new Labo Kit. Vehicles.
I gotta say, this…Continue

Here's a game that wasn't on my radar at all. It's called Kabounce and it's pitched as "multiplayer pinball".
It looks like it works in a "Splatoon-esque" way. Color the arena in your own color while attacking the other balls.
"Compete head to head in 4 versus 4 multiplayer pinball arena.…Continue
The PUBG Global Invitational event in Berlin is different. Many empty seats and many silent fans littering the arena.
However, it was the opening ceremony that won the show.
Some people call it cheesy, stupid, weird. Whatever your opinion, one thing was certain. It went off without a hitch. No stumbles, no awkward moments, no technical errors.
Here it is in all it's glory:…Continue

Sony doesn't need to be involved with console cross-play. They are the biggest selling and most popular console, so by default they already have more players than both Microsoft and Nintendo. And why would they prevent the sale of a PS4 because said consumer can't play with their friend who already owns one?
I'll tell you why.
Sony has now given the Xbox One and Nintendo Switch an exclusive feature. By not participating they have made, what could have been…Continue

Today thru Monday both PS4 and Xbox One players can play Killing Floor 2 for free. If you haven't had a chance to play this bloodfest of an FPS, then this is your chance.
This is a little celebration of sorts to the recently added THE SUMMER SIDESHOW: TREACHEROUS SKIES UPDATE which adds tons of new features including new weapons, and a new character. …Continue

As expected, today was the day that EA revealed the new game in the Battlefield series. And boy was I wrong:
It's not Bad Company, it's not Hardline, it's Battlefield. And so close to the release of Battlefield 1, too. Well, the game looks beautiful and the action looks true to life.
I'm not as thrilled as most Battlefield fans might…Continue

Activision Blizzard has just announced a partnership with Lego to bring the heroes and maps to the masses in the form of Lego sets.
Though sets haven't been revealed, they will start arriving in Spring/Summer 2018 with each being treated as they treat new in-game events. I'm sure this means cryptic leaks and and TONs of anticipation.
And expect Nerf adding some Overwatch themed weapons as part of their Nerf Rivals line sometime in January 2019.
