The Switch is getting a new model... well sorta. While it's not the rumored "pro" model thats been rumored, it is an upgrade to the current models. The biggest upgrade is the battery life. 

The original Switch sported 2.5 to 6.5 hours of battery life. As you can see from the above image, the new model as a substantial increase in battery life. No word on increased CPU power or internal storage. 

You will need to check model numbers when you purchase. The new model number is HAC-001(-1) and should be in stores soon. 

I don't believe this is the Switch that was rumored, but more along the lines of an upgrade to the existing model of the current line (hence the similar model numbers).
