Bethesda Offers Private Worlds In Fallout 76, For A Price

With a move that has left a lot of Fallout 76 players and non-players alike, kind of confused. Bethesda has just announced that they are offering a premium membership to Fallout 76 called Fallout 1st. Bethesda has said that Fallout 1st "offers something players have been asking for since before launch: private worlds for you and select friends." That might sound great until you hear that it will not be free. In fact, in order for you to get a "private world" it will cost you $12.99 a month or $99.99 a year. Now, what else does this include? Here is a nifty graphic from Bethesda to help you with that.

As far as the Private Worlds, yes it will be you and up to seven friends but the catch is, as to owner of said private world, you have to be online in order for the others to join your world. Only the owner of the Private World will need to pay the monthly fee. Which is a good thing if you and your friends can split the costs, but again the owner has to be online in order for others to access the Private World. If the owner of the Private World leaves the server, as long as one other in the room has the Fallout 1st membership, all can stay.

The Scrapbox is very helpful, it very much mimics the storage in Fallout 4 where there is no limit on the amount of materials you could store. Although in Fallout 4 that feature was included in the purchase of the game.

The Survival Tent gives you the ability to fast travel to any point on the map as long as you build a survival tent where you would like to fast travel.

You get 1,650 free Atoms a month to use at the Atomic shop...cool, i guess.

Honestly everything else that the membership offers is merely ascetic. So if the Private World means that much to you then the $12.99 a month is a drop in the bucket. If you are planning on becoming a member you can do so HERE, as it is available right now to purchase.

In my opinion, when people said they wanted their own Private World, my guess is they didn't mean they wanted to pay extra for it. Well, good luck and happy post-apocalyptic gaming you everyone!
