The wildly popular Arrow TV show is coming to a close at the end of season 8. This has been the most successful and longest-running DC comic series to date.

While it is ending, it's not going down with out a fight.

What has been dubbed "The Arrowverse" is having a huge cross over event that spans every single show that falls under the Arrowverse banner. Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, DC's Legends of Tomorrow, and Batwoman. Characters from the newest CW comic book show Black Lightning is also set to appear in this event, but we don't know who it's going to be at this time.

The event? Crisis on Infinite Earths.

Crisis on Infinite Earths is a 12-issue DC mini series written by Marv Wolfman and penciled by George Perez. It was first published in April of 1985 and ended in March of 1986. While the main series was only 12-issues long, there were a lot of side stories and tie-ins from all over the DC comics universe. It was one of the greatest cross over series ever and the biggest.

The Arrowverse is going to try to replicate this massive story in a 5 part crossover event. The first 3 parts are going to air in December of 2019 and the last 2 parts are going to air in early 2020.

  • SUPERGIRL – Sunday, December 8, 2019 (8:00-9:00pm ET/PT)
  • BATWOMAN – Monday, December 9, 2019 (8:00-9:00pm ET/PT)
  • THE FLASH – Tuesday, December 10, 2019 (8:00-9:00pm ET/PT)
  • ARROW – Tuesday, January 14, 2020 (8:00-9:00pm ET/PT)
  • DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW – Tuesday, January 14, 2020 (9:00-10:00pm ET/PT)

Lamonica Garrett, who plays the Monitor and the Anti-Monitor in the event said that they're going to try to stick as close to the comic cross over as possible. But "It's hard to bring everything that's on the page and adapt it to the screen, but they're doing a really good job of that".

And we have guest stars. Kevin Conroy is set to play Batman\Bruce Wayne from a future time line. Brandon Routh is going to be Superman. But he will be portraying a different version of him than he did in the movie Superman Returns. He will be Kingdom Come Superman. Kingdom Come Superman is very different as he is more aggressive and a lot more violent.

Finally, well so far, we have Burt Ward. Burt played Robin in the 1960's Batman TV show. It's not known yet what character Burt Ward is going to be playing, but I personally hope he is going to be playing an older Robin brought out of retirement. This makes me very sad that Adam West has past away. I would love to have seen him put on the suit once again for this cross over event.

There have been rumors galore as to who else is going to show up. Everybody from Mark Hamill to Tom Wellings. Nothing has been confirmed as of yet and a lot of has been debunked, but that hasn't stopped the rumor mill at all.

Part one of Crisis starts with Supergirl on Sunday, December 8th.

This is going to be amazing.
