EA Access Subscription Service to Arrive on Playstation 4 in July

In further news regarding the age of subscription based gaming services, EA Access will make its way to the Playstation 4 after the service was initially declined in 2014 and was only on the Xbox One. It's not to be confused with Origin, which is EA's PC client and differs in deals and trial releases, like Play First Trials, which grants 10 hours or early access to new EA games before their release dates.

EA Access allows for 1 month ($5/4eu) or 12 month ($30/20eu) subscription plans that also includes incentives for those signed up, like early access, free range of EA's Vault, where games are added after their initial release dates. It's not a bad plan, overall, if you're a PS4 owner. The subscription service acts as a great compliment to own and purchase games like the Dragon Age series, Mass Effect, Battlefield, The Sims, and Unraveled. Perhaps this was an audible on Sony's behalf to add more consumer variety as an answer to XBox's Game Pass. Speaking of which, if you already have EA Access on the XBox One, you'll have to open a whole new account to function on your Playstation 4, so that's something to keep in mind.

EA Access launches on PS4 in July. No concrete date given.
