Much to the surprise of no body at all, Bioware, developer of the much disappointing Anthem, has announced that the lead director, the lead producer, and the executive producer have all since left the project.

This isn't a good thing since the game is still struggling to find a home among the other loot shooters that have been released.

Jonathan Warner, lead director, had to take a leave due to a family emergency and isn't expected to return to the project. Michael Gamble, lead producer, revealed on Twitter that he is no longer working on Anthem.

Outside looking in, this isn't good for the project at all. Said to be a 10 year planned for game and having only been out since February of this year, the game has had a lot of hardships. It was a complete mess at launch.

A lot of people are speculating that they are moving over to the announced Dragon Age 4 project, to get that to its finishing line. Many are saying that EA is just abandoning the game altogether. EA has already invested 7 years into the game, and with it continuing to struggle to find a place, that could be EA's way to get out of their investment.

Its sad, this game could have been great, especially with Bioware behind it, but I think with its issues and player count going down. Its probably better if they use their talent else ware.
