For anyone who may have been a little hesitant about sampling Neatherrealm's latest chapter in the hard-hitting, blood spilling mayhem, here's a little bit of good news. From October 11th to October 14th, Mortal Kombat 11 will be free to play on Playstation 4 and Xbox One.

In this free trial, all multiplayer game modes will be accessible, along with the first two chapters of MK11's Story and the full roster. You'll also get a chance to sample the DLC characters Nightwolf, Shang Tsung, and the recently released Terminator T-800 from the upcoming "Terminator: Dark Fate" film in Towers of Time.

Any achievements and unlockables in the trial will be carried over into the full version, which will be at a 40% reduced cost during the weekend.
