OWL Stage 4 Week 3 Results And Standings.

We are counting down the final weeks for the Season 1 of the Overwatch League. This week held the last match in the continuing sage for the Battle of Los Angeles. I love these matches personally, since it brings out the very best in the fans them self. With both sides cheering their preferred team. The stadium can get very loud.

The Dragons are still looking very good. They're slowly getting their stuff together. Despite this struggle for their very first win in the Stage. Diya, Their flex DPS player, has been very impressive, so much so that he was given the Player of the Game in the match again the Houston Outlaws. He is the one bastion of light in an other wise struggling team.

Speaking of struggles. The Boston Uprising continue to lose, and lose big, against teams that they shouldn't really have any issues with at all. They can't seem to adjust to the new meta with Striker having issues against teams who run a Brigitte. Coming into Stage 4, they were the second over all team. Now they have dropped to 4th overall. They need at least 2 wins this stage to stay in contention for a play off spot. They will be playing against both Shanghai and Florida, which should be easy wins. But I just don't know any more. Shanghai has been looking strong, despite not winning a match, and Florida is very 50\50. Some matches they look amazing while others look like they have no idea what they are doing.

In the category of "its about freaking time" the Dallas Fuel have been very very impressive this stage. They won both of their matches this week - all the while getting the upset victory against the Boston Uprising in a 4 - 0 fashion. Ranking wise, they are eliminated from play offs. But man, they have been looking very good and very well organized. Mickie has picked up Brigitte, and wow has he been doing some work. This is the Dallas team that everybody has been expecting since Stage 1. It sucks that we are just getting them now since none of their wins really matter to them, but do matter against other teams. They're making it very hard for the mid ranked teams to be able to hold their position. This is the Dallas team that I wanted, this is the Dallas team that we all wanted. I don't want to speculate, but I will, that maybe Effect was the reason why they were struggling for awhile? They seem to be doing better with out him on the team.

The unstoppable force that was the Houston Outlaws finally lost last week - twice in fact. But this week they are going up against weaker teams. Hopefully they can return to form and start back on their winning streak.

And lastly, the Battle for Los Angeles. The Gladiators vs the Valiant. Man oh man what a match. As I said before, I love when these 2 teams play against each other, since it shows just how hype home team crowds can get, and since both of their teams are the home team, the crowds get really into it. Not the mention, the teams them self can get into it with the Valiant having one of the best walks to the stage the league has ever seen.

Very very cool.

With all that said, lets look at the results from the week.
