Persona 5 Royal now has a street date for its release in this hemisphere. The widely successful and critically acclaimed role-playing game of 2016 received an updated version that includes new enhancements and features. This isn't the first venture into definitive releases of Persona games, both Persona 3 and Persona 4 saw enhanced re-releases of their games with Persona 3 FES and Persona 4 Golden, respectively. 

Persona 5 introduces a new protagonist, Kasumi Yoshizowa, some new gadgets to utilize in play that will alter how areas are approached, like a new grappling hook that could allow access to new locations. A new character along with Kasumi seems to be new, a social link that appears to be tied to Ann Takimaki.

Little details have been officially revealed, and the official site for Persona 5 Royal is currently thin on available information, but seems that more will be on the way. Persona 5 Royal is set to hit retail on October 31st 2019 exclusively for the Playstation 4
