Wow.... Sony announced a lot for the PS5 and also finally showed off the console itself.

With this much to get through, I am going to talk about big reveals and notable ones. Also note that a lot of these games don't have release dates yet. Will try to provide as much info as I possibly can.

I want to start things off with.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales

It's going to be a launch title. Developed by Insomniac, this new game takes place after the events of the first game released back in 2018. However, it has not been confirmed that it's a sequel or a standalone expansion pack. While Miles was featured heavily in the first title, the developers them self have said on the record that they are not done with Peter's story just yet. Could this be a set up to introduce a new character for Spider-Man 2? We will have to wait and see. Judging by the trailer though. This game is going to be just as much fun as the first game.

The Gran Turismo series is back with a bang.

Announced at the PS5 event, Gran Turismo 7 is bringing back its ultra realistic simulation driving to the PS5. It even features a fully fledged extensive campaign mode. With hundreds of different cars. This year it's going to bring back the best features of yester-year. Get ready to race with Gran Turismo 7. No release date on this one.

One of the best action platformers to ever be released. Ratchet & Clank is making the jump to the PS5 with Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. This game features the same classic Ratchet & Clank gameplay mixed with interdimensional travel! And of course, no release date.

And hey! Look at all that raytraving on Clank! It's also said that there is going to be fast loading times between changing dimensions.

LittleBigPlanet is getting a spin off title called Sackboy: A Big Adventure. Developed by Sumo Digital. This title looks to be featuring Sony's mascot in a single player adventure and judging by the trailer, you can also bring a friend a long for the ride.

It's a 3D platformer. There really isn't much more to this.

Abe is making his come back! Announced at Sony's PS5 event, Oddworld: Soulstorm is coming exclusively for the PS5 console.

This title was actually announced way back in 2015 as a remake of Abe's Exoddus. This has been the first time we have heard anything of it since its original announcement.

Bluepoint Games is known for their beautiful Shadow of the Colossus remake on the PS4.

Well, they are back with another remake. This time they are tackling a classic RPG game.

Demon's Souls is getting a full on remake - IE rebuilt from the ground up. Sony has also confirmed that you the game can be set to 1 of 2 different modes. The first mode is focused on visual quality and the second is more optimized for frame rate.

M. Night Shyamalan's movie "The Village" is getting a video game adaption.

.. Sorry... I had too.

Capcom has officially confirmed the existence of the newest Resident Evil game. Titled Resident Evil Village and is being released in 2021. The setting looks amazing and I cannot wait to play this new Ethan character.

Oh.... never mind then. Well at least its going to be like the classic RE games... oh... its a first person shooter.

Well heck.

It was leaked a few months ago that Square Enix was working on an exclusive project for the PS5. Well my friends, today it was revealed.

Project Athia is the newest title being developed by Luminous Productions (Team who did FFXV) and being published by Square. From the little we saw of it, it looks like it's going to be an action RPG.. but then again I was wrong with the whole "Village" thing so.

One thing I do know, the game looks gorgeous.

Arkane Lyon Studios, developers of the Dishonored franchise, is back with another unique title.

Deathloop, a new immersive first-person story driven shooter. You play as Colt who just so happens to be trapped on an island that just so happens to be stuck in a timeloop. You goal is to fight, sneak, and sabotage your way past members of the Aeon Program - who are very trigger happy. You need to take out the eight people who are responsible for this loop and hopefully you will be able to break it.

The catch? Every time you die, you start over again.

There was so many things announced that it could take me all day to cover them. But I do have 2 more that I want to feature.

While not an exclusive to the PS5 - as it's being released on literally everything but the Switch - it's still cool that it even got announced.

Agent 47 is back. Hitman 3 is being released January of next year.

And finally.

It has been rumored for awhile now, and Sony finally confirmed it!

Spider-Man Miles Morales was a huge announcement, but this one, IMO, is even bigger. I am not even going to talk about it, I am just posting the trailer.

The first game looked amazing. This games visuals look even better. Like wow, we are getting another Horizon game.

I wished this was all that was announced, but it wasn't Sony really brought it out. I didn't cover them not because I am not interested, but because I just don't have the time. A lot of these games looks amazing and I urge you to go check them out.

The other announcements that I didn't cover; Stray (You're a kitty cat!), Destruction All-Stars, Kena: Bridge of Spirits (hyped for this one), Goodbye Volcano High, Jett: The Far Shore, Godfall, Solar Ash, Astro's Playroom, Little Devil Inside (seriously, go look this game up), NBA 2k21 (yawn), Pragmate (It has a creepy little girl), Bugsnax (you eat food and turn into them... what?), Returnal (new franchise).

Man did Sony bring it. While a lot of these titles either don't have a release date or are do out next year. Just from these titles, it appears the PS5 is going to have a big first year.

While I didn't cover the console it self, my man Mike is going to be covering that in another post. Boy... does it look weird.... So wait for that.

As always, this has been James with Game Fix. Game on everybody! And I think it's safe to say that next gen is here.

.. and go loop like "Little Devil Inside". Probably the only game I'm super hyped for.
