The Outer Worlds on Nintendo Switch Is Expected Between January and March 2020

When The Outer Worlds was released October 25th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows, the Nintendo Switch port didn't have a set release date, but the wait wasn't aimed at being too far off. In their second quarter financial report, Take Two Interactive, owner of Outer World's publisher Private Division, gave a release date window no later than March 31st 2020, putting it early in the fiscal year.

The Nintendo Switch port will be developed by Virtuos, who have assisted on titles like The Last of Us, the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, Mortal Kombat X on iOS, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, and Horizon Zero Dawn. Nintendo's hybrid console saw the release of The Witcher III, still a very impressive feat to witness this device pull off, so ports of Switch games are happening at a much faster rate as studios become more savvy with compressing data. These full fledged gaming experiences to have on the go makes it even more of a keen investment, and many of these have been very well done.

The Outer Worlds is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
