"A Little Something Extra" Planned For Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition on the Nintendo Switch

The Special Edition of Devil May Cry 3 is due on the Nintendo eShop February 20th. In a video tweet, Capcom producer Matt Walker spoke of being "a little motivated to add something a little extra" to this port of the game.

“We know that this game holds a very special place in all of your hearts and so we wanted to show our appreciated. I guess you can see we were feeling a little motivated to add a little something extra that we think you’re all really going to like. So here are the key dates to circle on your calendar to check back for more info: January 16, January 30, and February 13."

The Special Edition of Devil May Cry 3 allows players the opportunity to play as Dante's brother, Vergil and the 9,999 floors of DMC3's Survival Mode. The immediate speculation I would assume could be a possible integration of JoyCon motion controls or some Mario themed costumes, very similar to the HD remastered port of Bayonetta on the Wii U. Capcom's lips are sealed, at least until the 16th of January.
