Advance Wars 1+2: Reboot Camp Delayed Until 2022

Announced at the Nintendo Direct back in June, Advance Wars 1+2 Reboot Camp reignites the turn-based combat series with Andy, Max, and Sami with this remastered collection from the Gameboy Advance days. It looks like fans will have to wait a little bit longer. Originally scheduled to be released December third of this calendar year, it now looks like it has been pushed back to a more vague date of Spring 2022.

Hello, troops! #AdvanceWars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp, which was set to launch on 12/3, will now release for #NintendoSwitch in spring 2022. The game just needs a little more time for fine tuning. You'll be battling with Andy & friends soon! Thanks for your patience.

Originally released in 2001 and developed by Intelligent Systems, Fuku, and Hudson Soft on the Gameboy Advance, Advance Wars tells the plot of the growing conflict between the Orange Star Nation and Blue Moon when an all-out invasion is launched by Blue Moon during boot camp. Balance your turn-based attacks with infantry units, mechs, tanks, and helicopters across area-affected terrain. Against A.I. and up to four opponents or allies in multiplayer.

Advance Wars 1+2: Reboot Camp will be available exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
