This weekend would have been Blizzcon 2020, but with the COVID-19 pandemic still in full swing, all conventions have been cancelled for the year - including Blizzcon 2020.

Have no fear though! We will be getting a Blizzcon event, we will just have to wait until February for it. February 19th to be exact.

We will be getting everything from the in person event. Don't worry cosplayers! You will still be getting your community cosplay event also.

The best part? This entire event will be free. In days past, Blizzard would charge for the bulk of their streaming shows - called a "Virtual Ticket". Along with being able to watch a lot of the panels and events. The Virtual Ticket also gave some nice bonuses to Blizzard games, like pets for WoW, and skins for Overwatch.

February also marks the 30th anniversary for Blizzard as a whole. So it is of no surprise that they are doing this event in that month.

With so much in store for Blizzard in the coming year, this event needed to happen. We still have no release date for Overwatch 2, Diablo 4, and even Diablo Immortals. With their 30th anniversary right around the corner, I am interested in what they will be doing for that also.

Blizzard President J. Allen Brack sat down for a fireside chat earlier in the week to talk about a few things.

I am very much looking forward to BlizzConline. We need Overwatch 2 news badly!
