Originally a PlayStation 4 exclusive, Detroit: Become Human has now become the latest console exclusive title to make its way to PC via the Epic Games Store, following the announcement of Death Stranding making its way to Windows in early 2020. Detroit: Become Human also joins Heavy Rain (back in June) and Beyond: Two Souls (July) in 2019.
Released in May 2018, Detroit Become Human explores the compelling topic of transhumanism in a distant future where machines develop complex emotions beyond their base programming, like fear, love, and anger. Laced throughout the intertwining tale following several protagonists, the player dictates actions through QTE (quick-time event) portions, branching forks in the road of your path while affecting outcomes.
Connor, a police detective generally involved in cases with androids. Kara, once a caretaker, goes rouge in order to protect a child. And Markus, a former sitter of an elderly man, who begins his own resistance movement.
Detroit: Become Human can currently be preordered on the Epic Games Store for $39.99 (US). It's available as a console exclusive on the PlayStation 4.
