I am a big fan of games, be it video games or board games. I play a variety of games, every thing from Magic The Gathering to Settlers of Cantan.

I got an interesting email the other day from a friend of mine telling me of a new board game, currently on Kickstarter.

If you are not familiar with Kickstarter, its a way for creators and developers alike to crowd fund their dream projects. A lot of great games have come from crowd funding, and a lot of turds.

The game in the email was Street Fighter: The Miniature Game being created AngryJoe, of Youtube fame, and Jasco Games.

Cool huh? It seems like a really interesting premises on the "rock, paper, scissors" format of Street Fighter. And the figures them self, if the pictures are any indication of the final product, are going to look amazing.

24 hours after the Kickstarter went live, it had reached its $400,000 goal.

In a very emotional Youtube video, AngryJoe announced that the Kickstarter, the first he had ever done, was funded.

Even though the game is funded, you can still contributed to the Kickstarter which, as of this post, has 22 days left. It still has a few stretch goals to unlock, like Cammy, which is the final goal.

And as he said in the "Thank you" video, there is a lot more to come. At a panel during Pax East, he teased 2 more games, one of them being Mortal Kombat and the other being DragonBall Z. He also said that all of these games will be interchangeable. Which means you can finally have your dream match of Goku vs. Ryu.

Street Fighter: The Miniature game is still currently up on Kickstarter and is slated for a March 2019 release date.

What do you guys think? Going to throw some money at it? Tell us in the comments below.
