Five Nights At Freddy's Movie Trailer

After almost a decade, amidst a regular string of delays and development roadblocks, the Five Nights at Freddy's film will finally see the silver screen. The video game sensation that became a global hit in 2014 will hit theaters this October, and also will be streaming on Peacock. Produced by Blumhouse (M3gan, The Invisible Man), Universal's trailer is the first teaser look fans will get to see.

The film follows a troubled security guard as he begins working at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. While spending his first night on the job, he realizes the night shift at Freddy’s won’t be so easy to make it through. The animatronics, Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy, come to life and try to kill anyone in sight after midnight.

The film stars Josh Hutcherson (The Hunger Games, Ultraman, Burn) as security guard Mike Shmidt, and Elizabeth Lail (Once Upon A Time), as well as Shaggy Rogers himself, Matthew Lillard. Franchise creator Scott Cawthon will serve as producer along with Jason Blum, while Emma tammi and Seth Cuddleback assisted with writing.

Five Nights at Freddy's will hit theaters and will simultaneously stream on Peacock October 27, 2023.
