Time to round out some more free game announcements! For the month of October, the Nintendo Switch Online Service + Expansion Pack is adding some additions to the Game Boy Advance catalog. The inclusions come from Nintendo's futuristic racer series, F-ZERO. Subscribers can look forward to F-ZERO Falcon Legend and F-ZERO Climax.
Both games will be available October 11 (access requires a subscription to the Expansion Pack)
F-ZERO Falcon Legend
This title is a racing game for the Game Boy Advance released in 2003. The year is 2201. The F-ZERO, a high-speed race on a universe-wide scale, in which players compete for the title of fastest in the universe, has people going wild. Ryu Suzaku, a popular rookie racer, and the mysterious pilot Captain Falcon are engaged in a fierce battle as rivals. However, Ryu actually has a serious past. This game can be played in six modes, including "Story" and "Grand Prix," and the courses are filled with various traps such as acceleration plates and bomb traps. Make full use of techniques such as blast turns and long jumps, and drive carefully.
F-ZERO Climax
This title is a near-future sci-fi racing game for the Game Boy Advance that was released in 2004. The ultimate "F-ZERO" is born, bringing your excitement to a climax with a wide variety of game modes! 24 machines that race at speeds faster than the speed of sound. Aim to be the fastest in the universe! There are plenty of elements to keep you busy with a variety of game modes, including Grand Prix, which travels around the universe, Time Attack, which challenges your limits, and Survival, which allows you to conquer races with different rules. You can also race on courses you've created using the "Course Edit" function. You can save an incredible 30 original courses!
