Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl rolls out its first DLC character reveal since the game's release back in October. Garfield will be added to the roster THIS WEEK as a free addition, bringing the roster count to twenty-one. The trailer showcases a few of the comic strip icon's special moves, blending some of his slapstick comedy into his attacks.

It is quite fascinating to see the generally lethargic and aloof cat performing chain combos and air juggles.

Created by Jim Davis and beginning publication in 1978 for 41 newspapers, Garfield would go on to become one of the most widely syndicated comic strips, reaching over 2,500 newspapers as of 2013. 

Garfield was acquired by Viacom, the parent company of Nickelodeon, in 2019, adding him under the umbrella of Nick characters. Along with two major motion pictures in 2004 (Garfield:The Movie) and 2006 (Garfield: A Tale Of Two Kitties), he's had several computer animated TV series since 1988's Garfield and Friends, 2009's The Garfield Show and Garfield Originals.
