CD Projekt Red's RPG masterpiece Witcher 3: Wild Hunt just recently turned 5 years old. To celebrate, CD Projekt Red's GoG department is giving away a copy of Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for free. 

With one catch. 

You must already own a copy of it on another platform - that isn't Nintendo Switch. Unfortunately, Nintendo Switch isn't able to do this because of integration issues.   

To redeem, you must first download GoG Galaxy 2.0 and then link your profile from Steam, Epic, Origins, PSN, or Xbox Live that already has either version of the game (the regular version or the "Game of the Year Edition") and it will magically be added to your game library. This also determines what version of the game you will get for free. If you have the base game, you will get the base game for free. If you own the "Game of the Year Edition" then you will get the GotY version for free. However, if you own the base game and all of the DLC, that DLC will not transfer over to the free copy. 

If by chance you already own the game on GoG, you will be given a code that you can share with a friend who hasn't already played this amazing game.
