DragonBall Fighters Z has made the circles again.

As reported on here, by yours truly, ArcSys was going to have character announcements at this years Gamescom event in Germany. Well, Weekly Jump and V-Jump magazines have both broken the news ahead of time. And its a big one.

Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta are both going to make an appearance in the game, but unlike Frieza's Gold form, where he can only change into it for a short period of time, these two are going to be selectable characters from the get go.

Also mentioned were both Android 18 (yyayayaya!!!!) and Android 16 also being playable with Android 17 being in one of Android 18's supers called "Accel Dance". Now this doesn't rule out Android 17 as a playable fighter, he just hasn't been announced yet.

The article also talked about a Story Mode that has characters fighting in a "What if" kind of scenario. It will feature various dead characters coming back for a grand tournament, which is similar to the current story line going on in DragonBall Super right now. With this announcement, there is no telling what characters could be announced for DragonBall Fighters Z. Maybe Beerus? Could we see characters like Jiren as playable fighters?

We also got scarce details on a new online mode where every body controls one character in a 3v3 battle. If you remember Scramble Mode from Street Fighter x Tekken then this is going to be very similar to it, but upped to about a thousand percent.

The more info that comes out for this game, the more hyped I am for it. I am sure we will be seeing more at Gamescoms this year, which starts on the 22nd of August and ends on the 26th.

Be sure to check back here for any more info on DragonBall Fighters Z and as always. This is James with Game Fix. Game on everybody!
