A 2.5D fighting game developed by CyberConnect2 (Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, Dragonball Z: Kakarot) and published by Bandai Namco, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R brings 50 characters from the various adaptations of the anime series together, from Phantom Blood to Stardust Crusaders, and up to JoJollon, take to the battlefield from different stages representing locations from the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure universe. 

Originally showcased during the PlayStation State of Play event back in March, All-Star Battle R is a remastered version of the original game initially released on the PlayStation 3 in 2013. Gameplay changes include added hitstop (a momentary freeze in fighting games designed to highlight great impact), adjusted Special Move commands, input buffers, faster gameplay, and attack adjustments based on gained meter. 

New stages include the Colosseum from the Vento Aureo arc, Great Dolphin Street Farm from Stone Ocean, and Rocky Mountains Village from Steel Ball Run.

(The Colosseum also features a Chariot Requiem stage hazard)

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R launches September 1 2022 for the PlayStation5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
