Kingdom Hearts 3 was released in January of this year for the PS4 and X1. Almost a year later we will be getting the Re:Mind DLC that is going to continue the story of Sora. In it, Sora is on the search for his childhood friend - Kairi. It will also hail the return of some of the much loved - and very missed - Final Fantasy characters.

The DLC will be coming to the PS4 first on January 23 of 2020 followed a month later for the X1.

Here is where it gets interesting.

According to the MS store listing it says "Get this app while signed in to your Microsoft account and install on your Windows 10 devices.".

"Windows 10 devices". Did MS just leak that it's getting a PC release? Or is this just a typo?

The Kingdom Hearts franchise has never gotten a PC release, however President and CEO Yosuke Matsuda has said in an interview with Game Informer that they are working on making their entire library available digitally and as of this writing. Almost every Final Fantasy game has gotten a PC release (minus Final Fantasy 1 and 2). Matsuda also mentioned in the interview that they (Square) would like to create a streaming services of their own for all platforms for fans to be able to play their catalog of games.

Square has been supporting PC for awhile now, as I mentioned above, almost all of the Final Fantasy titles have gotten a PC release. The 3D remake of Seiken Densetsu 3 (More commonly known as "Trials of Mana 3") is even getting a PC release next year. Square is definitely not shying away from the PC platform.

I personally am really hoping that this is true and that Square is going to be bringing the franchise to PC - finally. But in my heart of hearts, I think this was just a typo on MS's part.

Here's hoping though.
