HAL Laboratory's latest Kirby adventure will launch on the Nintendo Switch in 2022. This will be Kirby's seventeenth mainline entry in the series. With the camera angle and scope of the game, it looks like it's borrowed some liberties from Super Mario 3D Worlds, and the first Kirby game to be a full 3D platformer. Kirby must help rescue Waddle Dees from enemies known as the Beast Pack.
Kirby will have some new abilities (Ranger and Driller), along with many of his familiar ones in this single player or co-op adventure with Bandana Waddle Dee. What's eye-catching about this game is the environment very much resembles modern times, but left completely in ruins. It's not the first time Kirby has ventured outside of Dreamland, yet this looks very surreal, very much like Mario popping up in "the real world" in Super Mario Odyssey.
Rescue the Waddle Dees and have them aid you in growing your home base at the once abandoned Waddle Dee Town. The friendly little puffballs will help you discover secrets and explore further locations.
The file size for Kirby And The Forgotten Land will be 5.8gb, making it the biggest Kirby game on the Switch. It will be released March 25, 2022.
