It feels like I was only speaking about this merely two weeks ago. Konami has revealed details regarding their anniversary collection. And it sounds pretty juicy. In what seems to be quite a bundle, here are the titles that are known so far:

The Arcade Classics include:

Haunted Castle
Typhoon (A-Jax)
Nemesis (Gradius)
Vulcan Venture (or Gradius III)
Life Force (Salamander)
Thunder Cross
Scramble
Twinbee

This will be released digitally on April 18th for $19.99. Extras will include interviews with staff members, sketches and other artwork, and previously unreleased documents.

Later in the summer, the Castlevania bundle will be released. The games included are:

Castlevania
Castlevania III Dracula’s Curse
Castlevania II Belmont’s Revenge
Super Castlevania IV
[Four games not yet named]

Bonus ebooks will be available for that as well, but no details available as of this writing. I'd love to see Bloodlines be added.

The Contra Collection will be reportedly available around the same time, and will include Contra, Super Contra, Super C, and Contra III The Alien War. Four other games that have yet to be revealed (Keeping fingers crossed for Hard Corps. No C: The Contra Adventure, that game is better left in the past)

This is something I will await with relish and could be a great step forward for Konami. It would interesting to see if digital distribution will add more game via DLC, much like the SNK 40th Anniversary Collection. It will be released on the PS4, Nintendo Switch, XBox One, and Steam.
