Konami's Gameboy Advance Castlevania Titles May Be Coming To Consoles and PC

(Castlevania Order Of Ecclesia)

While it still may be a while for a new announcement regarding a new Castlevania entry, the Castlevania Collection has been a nice way to pass the time. As well, there may be some upcoming good news afoot on the digital front. According to a report by Video Games Chronicle, the Taiwan Entertainment Software Rating Information company has the as of yet unannounced Castlevania Advance Collection has been listed for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

This isn't the first time that this has been confirmed. This collection was first spotted being rated in Australia on June 18th and again in South Korea June 25th. Those ratings were for PC. With this Taiwan report, this indicates the first time the collection has listed its availability for home consoles.

The last couple of months, Konami has held their cards close to their chest regarding information on upcoming projects. They've opted out of E3's digital showcase for 2021, feeling their presentation wasn't quite ready for public showing. Most news that can be confirmed is there are two Silent Hill projects in the works. The may be a chance that with the relaunch of Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls on the Apple Arcade platform, this announcement of the Castlevania Advance Collection may have been a part of Konami's presentation. Directed by Koji Igarashi, these series of Castlevania games are widely regarded by many in the community as some of the best entries in the franchise for their sprawling maps and expansive exploration.

The GBA Castlevania games began with 2001's Circle of the Moon, Harmony of Dissonance, Aria of Sorrow, and the original Castlevania released under the Classic NES Series line in 2004.
