Recently, Terry Crews announced that he will be present during this year's E3 for a "major surprise". He did this while booting up Overwatch on his PC. He also stated that "ya'll know what it is."

Indeed, we do. He's going to voice Doomfist. 

The question remains though, WHO is Doomfist going to be? A playable character? A "lore" character that only appears in animated shorts and/or digital comics? 

As for playable character, I say no. 

Doomfist is a threat. A big threat. So much so that the "bad guys" want him back and the "good guys" want him..not..back. This being said, having him be a playable character would either be lame because he'd have to be "balanced" to fit the game, therefor he couldn't be a real "threat". OR you get a character who IS a threat, being stronger than two or more characters combined, and totally break the game. 

See how this can't really happen? 

So, here's how he can be in the game. And duh, of course he'd be in the animated shorts and whatnot:

As you know, there is currently an event going on called Overwatch: Uprising. It's a 4 player co-op PVE mode where you are essentially doing a campaign type mission. It's one of the best things they've done to the game since it's launch. Not only is it a hit, but it's where my theory takes hold. 

Doomfist will be our first "official" Overwatch Boss Fight. A team of 4 vs 1. Now I'm assuming it will be 4 humans vs 1 AI, but I don't ignore the 4v1 we get from games like Evolve or the upcoming Friday the 13th game. 

That's it. THAT is how he can be in the game and still be the threat we've all grown to love, DOOMFIST!!!!
