Hey guys. I am back to bring you the break down for today's Nintendo Direct. I am just going to go over the new announcements and some stuff I find interesting. I will link to the original video at the end.

First off, the worst kept secret in gaming was confirmed. Overwatch is coming to the Nintendo Switch. It's going to take advantage of the motion controls the Nintendo Switch offers. During Junkrat's Ultimate move, you can use motion controls to control the tire. There are a few characters that can take advantage of this but they didn't name all of them.

For some Smash Bros news. The 3rd fighter, Banjo and Kazooie is going to be released today. We also have confirmation of the new fighter for Smash Bros and it's not Tracer.

It is Terry Bogard from the Fatal Fury SNK game.

That leaves one more fighter to be announced... or is it? Nintendo confirmed that they are indeed working on more fighters for the future. Terry will be released some time in November.

The Wii-U hidden gem, Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore will be released on January 17th of 2020. This is a definitive version of the game and it will include new songs, new characters, and new story elements.

Bethesda joins us for a special announcement.

For the first time since its original 1997 release. We are getting Doom 64 on a console.

Game Freak doesn't just make Pokemon games. They also make a wide range of other games and their newest game is getting a Nintendo Switch release.

It looks like it's going to be a lot of fun.

Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition is getting a Nintendo Switch release. This really cool JRPG was released originally on the Wii. The new version is going to be in HD for the first time ever.

There is some new things coming to Tetris 99. Tetris 99 2.0 was announced and it brings some changes.

Deadly Premonition Origins & 2 was also announced during the Direct. I am not familiar  with either of these games, but they look good.

We got a new Kirby game coming out and its not a traditional one at all. It's a boss rush mode with up to 3 of your friends. It looks interesting and it's going to be kinda free to play.. I guess?

Nintendo also provided more information on Animal Crossing, Pokemon Sword/Shield, Link's Awakening, and Luigi's Mansion 3. Nothing super exciting to see. As for other announcements we got Assassin's Creed: Rebel Collection which brings together Black Flag and Rogue. Devil May Cry 2, Divinity: Original Sin 2: Definitive Edition, which will allow cross saves with Steam. Star Wars: Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast, which is an amazing Star Wars game and should be played by everybody. Return of the Obra Dinn which looks really weird and oddly interesting. Rogue Company which is a team-based shooter by Hi-Rez Studios. Looks like it's going to be a lot of fun and it's an online title. I am glad Nintendo has finally embraced this online thing.

There was a lot of games announced during this Direct, and a lot of new things to titles already announced. However....

The biggest announcement, in my opinion was this.

This is very awesome and finally. It's going to launch with 20 games and we have some amazing games in this line-up. Everything from Link to the Past, to Super Metroid, to Demon's Crest. Such a great and balanced line-up of games. They also confirmed that they will be adding more to the line-up.

You can watch the entire Direct right here.

It's 40 minutes so not too bad.

I would also like to give a shout out to GameXplain. They posted all of the trailers really quick. I wanted to use the official Nintendo ones, but they haven't posted any. So thank you GameXplain for doing Nintendo's job for them.

As always, this has been James with Game Fix. Game on everybody!
