The World Health Organization has told people to "stay home and play games" to help fight the spread of COVID-19.

Sony is taking that a step further by launching their "Play At Home Initiative". On top of your normal PS+ download games, you will also be able to download Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and the beautiful indie game Journey. Both of these games have been offered in the past as PS+ downloads, but this time you get to keep them forever.

With games being delayed or tossed into the unknown (RIP Last of Us 2). Developers are struggling to coup with this current pandemic, despite sales being up, a lot of developers are having to work from home and that has delayed a lot of upcoming games. This has struck the indie developers the hardest, as they have smaller teams, and not a lot of games to purchase.

To help ease this stress, Sony is planning a $10 million fund for indie developers. No details have been released just yet, but Sony has promised 10 million dollars to independent development partners. I have no idea what "partners" means and Sony didn't go into detail about participation criteria.

You can download both Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Journey starting April 15th and up until May 5th.
