Welcome to the PS5 Showcase post-show, where we shall run down the highlights of the event and what's going to be coming to Sony's platform. This generation saw itself off to a rocky start towards the end of 2020 in terms of unique software, but the pipeline is aiming to be more robust this holiday season and in the coming months. 

Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic:

A fan favorite for a generation, Star Wars: KOTOR, originally released in 2003 will see a remake. Development will return to the hands of Aspyr, who's line of games include many Star Wars related projects like the Star Wars: Jedi Knight II series. No gameplay footage, but devout followers will be looking forward to this.

Project EVE

An action game from Korean studio Shift Up, Project EVE boasts some fast-paced action that's very similar to PlatinumGames' Bayonetta series. Manhwa artist Hyung-Tae Kim (MagnaCarta and the War of Genesis series), will serve as creative director for this timed PS5 exclusive.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands

From Gearbox and 2K comes a new looter shooter that blends fantasy and guns.Roll your own multiclass hero and loot, shoot, slash, and cast your way through outlandish monsters and loot-filled dungeons on a quest to stop the tyrannical Dragon Lord. Everyone's welcome, so join the party, throw on your adventuring boots, and be Chaotic Great.

Forespoken - Spring 2022

Mysteriously transported from New York City, Frey Holland finds herself trapped in the beautiful and cruel land of Athia with a magical, sentient bracelet wrapped around her arm. Her new, cynical companion “Cuff” helps Frey navigate through the sprawling landscapes of Athia. In search of a way home, Frey will battle monstrous creatures, confront the powerful Tantas, and uncover secrets that awaken something much more from within.

Rainbow Six: Extraction - January 2022

Alan Wake Remastered - October 5, 2021

Coming to PlayStation for the first time. Play as troubled author Alan Wake, who goes on a desparate search for his missing photographer wife, Alice. The sleepy Pacific Northwestern town of Bright Falls isn't what it seems. A malevolent presence lurks in the dark, and a horror story Alan doesn't remember writing is coming true.

Grand Theft Auto V - March 2022

And a trailer for this little known underdog game called Grand Theft Auto V. You might've heard of it.

Ghostwire Tokyo - Spring 2022

Marvel's Guardians Of The Galaxy - October 26 2021

Twelve years ago, a massive Galactic War swept across the cosmos. Bloodhunt

Deathloop - September 14, 2021

The deeper Colt goes down the rabbit hole, the more questions arise. One thing is for sure, Colt is determined to get to the bottom of this mystery and break the timeloop—no matter what answers he finds.

Kid A Mnesia Exhibition - November 2021

An upside-down digital/analogue universe created from original artwork and recordings to commemorate 21 years of Radiohead’s Kid A and Amnesiac.

Tchia

A Tropical Open-World adventure. Climb, glide, swim, and sail your boat around a beautiful archipelago in this physics-driven sandbox. Use Tchia's Soul Jumping ability to take control of any animal or object you can find, and Jam on your fully playable Ukulele. A game inspired by New Caledonia. 

Uncharted: Legacy Of Thieves Collection -

Uncharted: A Thief's End and The Lost Legacy are coming to PS5 consoles and PC. It seemed inevitable, but it will certainly be welcome to fans. Look for this coming in the first quarter of 2022.

Insomniac's Wolverine

A little teaser for an upcoming Wolverine solo game. Fans enjoyed the dev team's work on Spider-Man, but not much to go off from this, other than Insomniac's reputation. Those are some great looking knuckles, at least.

Gran Turismo 7 - March 4 2022

It's been nine years since the last Gran Turismo game. Sony's longtime in-depth racer returns, boasting the robust features and lush environments the franchise is known for.

Spider-Man 2 - Coming 2023

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is the next game in PlayStation’s critically acclaimed Marvel’s Spider-Man franchise. Developed by Insomniac Games in collaboration with Marvel Games and PlayStation for the PS5 console. Miles and Peter will have their hands full with Venom.

God Of War Ragnorok

From Santa Monica Studio comes the sequel to the critically acclaimed God of War (2018). Kratos and Atreus must journey to each of the Nine Realms in search of answers as they prepare for the prophesied battle that will end the world. Together, Kratos and Atreus venture deep into the Nine Realms in search of answers as Asgardian forces prepare for war. Along the way they will explore stunning, mythical landscapes, gather allies from across the realms, and face fearsome enemies in the form of Norse gods and monsters. As the threat of Ragnarök grows ever closer, Kratos and Atreus find themselves choosing between the safety of their family and the safety of the realms...
