Prince Of Persia Remake Isn't Vaporware, It's Just Pushed Back Further

Any news updates throughout the last calendar year about Ubisoft's Prince of Persia Remake, without any better way to put it, got lost in the sands of time. Back in June, they announced the game would not be able to make the Ubisoft Forward presentation. In efforts to not become the development sludge that Beyond Good and Evil 2 has morphed into, the programming team made an announcement regarding Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time's status:

"We want to take a moment to reassure you that the development of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake is still underway, motivated and inspired by your feedback," the publisher tweeted. "We will update you on our progress in the future and want to thank all of you for your unwavering support and patience."

According to Video Games Chronicle, it was later confirmed that Ubisoft decided to delay Sand of Time Remake to the company's next fiscal year, landing it in roughly March or April 2023. They also pushed back The Division: Heartland to the same time frame.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake was originally announced back in September of 2020.
