The latest entry in developer/publisher Level-5's soccer series, Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road, sees another delay in its release schedule. Originally slated for a 2024 release date in November of 2023, the soccer RPG now appears to be pushed back to June of 2025. This reports comes courtesy of Gematsu, as according to the leadership, the main reason for the delay is to provide "the ultimateInazuma", indicating new modes and features set to be introduced.
The scheduled release window for Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road has been changed from 2024 to June 2025. We know many players ear eagerly waiting, but to deliver high-quality content, and a system that offers long-term playability, we’re putting all our effort into creating the ultimate Inazuma. We kindly ask for a bit more of your patience. We will also incorporate a lot of feedback from Inazuma Post to ensure we will meet our players’ expectations. We deeply apologize to all fans for keeping you waiting.
Some of the new features include Commander Mode, a style of play that suits players looking for a more strategic and planning approach, assigning tasks for players and focusing on training. Through Bond Link, you can establish and set player relationships, as well as advancing relationships based on previous storylines.
Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road is expected to launch June 2025 for the Nintendo Switch, Windows, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and iOS and Android devices.
