After fan speculation and rumors, it looks like the iconic monster from the famed Hellraiser series Pinhead will be making his way to Dead By Daylight. Initially teased by Behaviour Interactive, it was officially confirmed with a brief, cryptic trailer released.

He'll be known in-game as The Cenobite, and will be available in the 5.2.0 patch update, along with several other changes, such as larger text toggles and notifying players that they won't be able to keep Limited Items. The full list of update notes can be read here.

Cenobite's perks and powers will include "Deadlock", which blocks the generator with the most power for 30 seconds. There's also "Hex: Plaything", the first time you hook a survivor, a Dull Totem is activated. Cursed player will suffer from the Oblivious status affect until the Hex: Plaything is cleansed.

Such a fit for Dead By Daylight. Log in and "get hooked". Or do the hooking. That did not end up being as punchy as I thought it would be.
