REPORT: Microsoft Adding UbiSoft Plus To Xbox Game Pass

UbiSoft's Plus membership gives access to over 100 UbiSoft titles throughout their library. A new incentive is being added to Game Pass, however. According to The Verge, a deal has been struck that will bring UbiSoft+'s subscription plan and Rainbow Six: Extraction will be available day one, January 20.

According to UbiSoft verifying it on Twitter, the Plus subscription will be separate from Game Pass, so it'll be similar to Microsoft adding EA Play to Game Pass. The $14.99US price tag will remain, so it's mostly the convenience of access to use it through Game Pass.

“By making Rainbow Six Extraction available to Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass members on the day and date of its launch via Xbox Game Pass, we’re demonstrating that we believe in the value and choice that game subscriptions offer to players,” spoke Chris Early, Ubisoft’s Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Business Development

UbiSoft+ was launched in September 2019 for PC users. There isn't an official release day for the service, UbiSoft says it will be "in the future".
