Set Your Clocks. It's Almost Time For Blizzcon 2021

It's almost time for Blizzcon Online!

Blizzard's entirely all-digital community celebration and exhibition will start Friday February 19th at 5 PM Eastern, with an opening segment that will showcase some of the latest games that Blizzard has been working on. Expect to see - but have not been confirmed just yet - news on Overwatch 2, Diablo 4, and Diablo 2: Resurrections

After the opening, there will be an additional three-plus hours, broadcast over six different channels, all dedicated to different themes.

Day 2 picks up at 3 PM Eastern February 20th, once again going multiple channels, until everything wraps up later that evening.

So far there have been zero esports announcements. Usually Blizzcon hosts several different esport events, from Overwatch World Cup, to Starcraft 2, To WoW PvP. With COVID going on, and with the convention already delayed, there is a good chance we won't be seeing any esports this year.

February is also a special month for Blizzard as a whole. February marks the 30th anniversary of Blizzard Entertainment. To celebrate this great achievement, Blizzard is doing a "Celebration Collection". The collection is 1 per account and comes in 3 different flavors. There is way too much to list, you get a lot of stuff like WoW pets, Overwatch Loot Boxes, and more. I personally think this is a little pricy for what it is. It is a lot of stuff, but most of these games I don't play and have no use for its items.

You can read the entire announcement here

I will be back here on February 20th to cover all of the announcements from Blizzcon Online.

Until then, this has been James with Game Fix. Game on everybody!
