The long awaited sequel was finally given an official release date. The Last of Us Part II follow-up to the critically acclaimed Playstation exclusive that was originally released on the PS3 in 2013, and saw a remastering on the Playstation 4 in July 2014. Since its reveal trailer at Playstation Experience in 2016, there was little info to go on in the months turned to years that followed. With the current life cycle of the Playstation 4 winding down, this lead to brief speculation that Naughty Dog's much anticipated sequel would see a Playstation 5 launch date. A new trailer was also showcased.

Its official release date is slated for February 21st, 2020, with a limited edition collector's box that comes with a 12'' Ellie statue, a steelbook, an artbook, a lithograph art print, and a digital soundtrack for $160.00 (US). Information available at Best Buy
