From the development team behind the popular fan game Touhou Luna Nights and the side-scrolling space shooter Dranius, Team Ladybug's Blade Chimera, a 2D explorative action game in the same vein as Koji Igarashi's Castlevania titles is less than two weeks away from launching. Co-produced by WSS Playground, you take control of Demon Hunter Shin, as you battle your way through the dark, cursed Osaka.
Battle demons, regain lost skills, and uncover the truth of your forgotten past in this exciting occult-inspired cyberpunk Metroidvania.
The studio's first search action titles, this will be Team Ladybug's largest and most ambitious game they've released thus far. Blending elements of the occult with flashy cyberpunk action, Shin's Demon Sword Lux is capable of providing offensive and defensive moves to go along with utilizing great swords and whips to vary up the combat.
Like many games of this nature, navigating the labyrinth requires gaining abilities to unlock doors or reach elevated platforms. A style of play that has been time-tested.
Blade Chimera launches January 16th for the Nintendo Switch and Steam.
