Turbografx-16 Mini Console Trailer and Details

Earlier this year, Konami revealed information on the lineup of games to be featured on the latest to join the club of plug-n-play consoles, the Turbografx-16 Mini. Three trailers were put up for each region of the Turbografx-16 (known as the PC Engine in other regions), highlighting featured titles like Bonk's Adventure, Space Harrier, the highly critically acclaimed Akumajō Dracula X: Chi no Rondo (Castlevania Dracula X Rondo of Blood), and even some of the more strange and obscure titles like detective adventure game J.J. & Jeff.

The US release will boast 25 English titles and 32 untranslated Japanese games for a total of a robust 57 retro games. It's unfortunate that some notable PC Engine selections like Snatcher and the tactical game Nectaris, but it personally warms my heart to see Star Parodier included. The Mini will also include a multitap (sold separately or with a bundle for the Japanese version) that will allow up to five players with mini PC Engine controllers manufactured by HORI. This device looks like a fantastic anthology of retro titles from one of the more overlooked game consoles.

The TurboGrafx-16 Mini will be released exclusively through Amazon March 19th 2020
