The second in a series of Summer time Ubisoft events that is to showcase what we can expect for the future of the publisher. So let's dive into it shall we?

World Premiere Trailer: Immortals: Fenyx Rising

Formerly called "Gods and Monsters" this action\adventure game pits you in the shoes of a new demigod named "Fenyx" as he\she shoots, slashes, and flies across a large open world inspired by the Gods of Greek mythos. This game reminds me very much of Breath of the Wild with a more action combat system. Unlike Breath of the Wild though, in this game you can completely customize your character however you see fit.

It's being released on December 3rd of this year. Unfortunately, Google's Stadia is getting an exclusive demo of the game before it launches.

World Premiere Trailer: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake

This remake has updated visuals and slight tweaks to the combat system (like being able to lock). Yuri Lowenthal even reprises his role as the Prince from the original game. The classic platforming time bending action game is slated for a January 2021 release for the PS4, X1, and PC. This game has been heavily rumored for months now and it's great to final see an actual announcement for this title.

Rainbow Six: Siege Gets a Familiar Face

That's right! Sam Fisher is now an operative in Rainbow Six: Siege. While this isn't the Fisher announcement fans were expecting, it's great to see that Ubisoft hasn't completely forgotten about him.

Dig the fancy animated trailer.

A Classic Beat'em Up Gets a Second Chance at Life

It has been 10 years since the original Scott Pilgrim Vs The World: The Video game made it onto platforms. Originally released way back in 2010 for the 360 and PS3. The game was then removed from digital storefronts in 2014 after the rights for the game were put in limbo. After months of fans, and even Bryan Lee O'Malley himself Tweeting Ubisoft about a possible re-release to celebrate it's 10 year anniversary fell on deaf ears. Things went quiet. Until today!

Scott Pilgrim Vs The World: The Video Game Complete Edition was official announced and according to O'Malley, has been in development for some time now. It's said to be released for all major consoles and even, for the first time, get a PC release!

Scott Pilgrim Vs The World: The Video Game Complete Edition will feature both DLC characters - Knives Chau and Wallace Wells. Relive this love letter to 90's beat'em ups this holiday for the Nintendo Switch, PS4, X1, and PC (Uplay). No confirmation on next-gen just yet.

Watch_Dogs: Legions Got Another Trailer

Outside of the newest trailer for the hacker fest open world game Watch_Dogs: Legions it was also announced that the protagonist from the first game, Aiden Pierce will be back in the newest installment. The catch? You have to purchase the season pass. He will come with his own new storyline. If you purchase the season pass, you will also get a copy of the original Watch_Dogs for free. I'm sure by now, if you really cared about the first game. You would have already own it.

World Premiere Trailer: Riders Republic

Ever wanted a massively multiplayer open world playground where you can fly, glide, snowboard, ski, or bike around? Yeah me either, but Ubisoft thinks we do!

Developed by the guys who brought us Steep, this open world sandbox MMO-style game allows us to live out our fantasy's of biking down a steep hill... with out killing ourselves. There is going to be a lot of events and massive PvP races with 50 other players.

Riders Republic has a February 21, 2021 release date for the PS5, PS4, X1, XSX, Stadia, Epic, and Uplay.

That was it for the Ubisoft Forward event. Still no news on Beyond Good and Evil 2 and honestly I'm kind of worried. Personally, I thought this is kind of a crap showcasing and man, I can't believe I am saying this, but I miss E3.

Next event is going to be Warner Bros., DC Fandome Part 2 which takes place September 12th at 1 PM EST and PAX Online also taking place September 12th at 1 PM EST.

As always, this has been James with Game Fix. Game on everybody!
