Marvel's Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order has been released today exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. 

This is also San Diego Comic Con weekend, so a lot of info has been revealed about the title. 

First off, they have planned free DLC coming to the game. The free DLC will be Cyclops and Colossus from the X-Men universe. Note, this is not the X-Men characters that were talked about. This is just free characters that they will be giving us. They will both be released on August 30th. Along with these 2 you will also be able to download everybody's favorite God of mischief, Loki.

We will also be getting a handful of alternate outfits for the whole gang. This will continue through the til the first quarter of 2020.

Going back to the "free DLC" there have been a number of leaks regarding the free characters. Colossus and Cyclops have been confirmed, but others on the list are; Black Bolt, Medusa, Valkyrie, and the Vision. There is also a bunch of other characters that are confirmed in the game, but aren't playable. Beast, Jessica Jones, Juggernaut, Mystique, Thane, and Winter Soldier. Again, they are in the game, just not playable. Rumor has it that they will also be free DLC at a later date. 

Now onto the Expansion Pass.

There is 3 premium Expansions coming at a later date. The pass costs $20, and will include the following. Please note, you will not be able to buy these separately. It's either all or nothing.  

First up coming this fall is Marvel Knights: Curse of the Vampire. This is going to be a story expansion and will include 4 playable characters. 

There is no trailer for this first expansion yet, but it is confirmed to be the first one released. Marvel didn't go into detail on the other 2 expansions. 

Honestly, for $20, this isn't bad. We will be getting a bunch of outfits and up to 12 new characters and some new story lines.
