Man this movie will never catch a break.

Once again the Uncharted movie has been hit by another set back. Director Dan Trachenberg has announced that he is no longer working on the film. Dan is the 5th director who has left production since 2008 (Yes, I was surprised by this also).

While it's not all bad news as Tom Holland is still set to play a younger Nathan Drake. I have a feeling that by the time the movie actually starts filming, he is going to be way too old to play the part.

Deadline has reported that Sony is already meeting with new people to direct. The movie is set to be released in December of 2020 and production is scheduled early next year. They need to lock somebody down quick or it's going to be delayed yet again.

Holland is also the only person cast so far in the live action adaption. Others have been rumored - like Bryan Cranston - but nothing has ever come of these rumors.

If things keep going this way, Holland will be old enough to play young Nathan Drake's father in the movie.

Shame too, cause this movie could have been really good once they get over all of these pit falls.

As always, this is James with Game Fix. Game on everybody!
