Microsoft has announced a new program and its actually incredibly good for those who don't already own an X-Box 1 S or an X-Box 1 X.
They now have a new plan called "Xbox All Access".
If you sign a 2-year contract, you will get either an Xbox 1 S, Xbox Live, and Game Pass for $22 a month or for $35 a month, you will get an Xbox 1 X, Xbox Live, and Game Pass.
All in all, this is still a pretty great deal for new customers or those who are looking to upgrade to the 1X. The total cost of All Access is $528 for the S and $840 for the 1X. If you were to purchase those separately, the cost would be $660 for the S and $860 for the 1X. So you are saving a good chunk of change.
But here is the fine print. According to a post on Microsoft's official web site (here). Signing up is only allowed in store, plus you have to pass a credit check, plus you have to be a Dell Preferred Account, because Microsoft isn't handling this them self. However, if you pass the credit check and pay it off in full before the 2 years is up. That's it. No interest.
Microsoft says that its only for customers in the US and its only for a limited time and its only "while supplies last".
Its really not a bad deal if you don't already own one and have good credit. This is going to open the door to a lot of new customers and maybe move some consoles.
What do you guys think? Good idea? Bad idea? Are you going to get yourself and Xbox 1 now? Let us know in the comments below.
