The Witch is back! The action-adventure series from PlatinumGames returns, following the Wii U exclusive Bayonetta 2, originally released in 2014. Series creator Hideki Kamiya will serve as the story director, while Yusuke Miyata, who has worked on Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, Astral Chain, and Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations, will be the game's director. 

The story involves Bayonetta being confronted by a new man-made threat known as the Homonculi. Teaming up with old allies and new ones, such as the new witch-in-training Viola (and alternate versions of Bayonetta), the sultry Umbra Witch investigates and challenges this new foe. 

The gameplay for Bayonetta 3 retains the hack-n-slash formula the series has been known for, with some new twists to Bayonetta's powers. A charming new addition to Bayonetta 3 is the "Naive Angel" feature. One of the biggest appeals of Bayonetta is her hair acts as her clothing AND her tool for battle, so the bigger the attack she uses, the less she's..."wearing". With the "Naive Angel Mode", she can appear more modest so that more people can enjoy the gameplay. See? There can be something for everyone.
