Genshin Impact's latest update, version 3.8, will be rolling out next month, featuring updated character banners to draw wishes on, a new limited time event, and some costumes for cast members!

The 3.8 banner periods will be 4 reruns of 5-Star characters. And the new area to explore will be a bottle dimension in Sumeru. This new location will sport mini-game events where you can earn in-game prizes and resources, as well as new areas to explore. 

The update rolls out Wednesday July 5th. The time zones are as follows for the various regions:

• East Coast US: Tuesday 4th July, 11pm (EDT)
• Central US: Tuesday 4th July, 10pm (CDT)
• West Coast US:Tuesday 4th July, 8pm (PDT)
• Australia: Wednesday 5th July, 1pm (AEST)
• Japan: Wednesday 5th July, 12pm (JST)
• Europe: Wednesday 5th July, 5am (CEST)
• UK: Wednesday 5th July, 4am (BST

5-Star Banner Characters:

For the first phase of the banner event begins with the return of the Cryo claymore user Eula on the Born of Ocean Swell Banner. And on the Sparkling Steps, it's the Pyro catalyst Klee. These banners will run from July 5th to July 25th.

The second phase of the banner will see reruns of the Hydro 5-Star Sangonomiya Kokomi on the Drifting Luminescence banner, and the Anemo 5-Star Wanderer (Scaramouche) on the From Ashes Reborn banner.

A new hangout event for Kaeya will also be available, and along with that, he and Klee will have new skins in conjunction with the Bottleland event. New TCG Cards and a new TGC game mode will be updated.

Secret Summer Paradise Bottleland Events:

As in previous events, Summer Paradise will host a handful of mini-games of various play styles. 

Spino Blaster - Man control of a canon and take aim at floating objects. Rack up higher scores by chaining effects to create combos.

Dance of Flashing Thought - A combat-centric mini-game where you can trigger a chain of battlefield effects. These effects can buff your character, helping you clear out larger waves of enemies at a faster rate.

Sojourns of the Barking Fox - A chain mini-game where you take control of a little fox. Guide them through hoops which contains Adventure Coins. Collect as many of them as you can to raise your score, but be careful. Projectiles fired upon you can reduce the coins you've earned, lowering your score.

Big Bang Finchball - A game of Bowls, essentially. Push your finches onto the board, aiming for certain locations in order to earn the best score possible. Special finches will appear, and can multiply your score for higher tallies.   

Completion of the festival mini-games can earn you a Crown of Insight, Kaeya and Klee's skins, ascension materials, Mora, Talent enhancement materials, character EXP materials, and Primogems.
