This week Overwatch gave us some fun little updates if you're a fan of Tracer and digital comics.
New comic series
Overwatch and Dark Horse Comics have partnered to launch a new comic series, Overwatch: Tracer — London Calling.
"Illustrated by the New York Times bestselling comic artist Babs Tarr (Batgirl, Motor Crush) and written by the Eisner Award winner Mariko Tamaki (Laura Dean Keeps Breaking Up With Me, Lumber Janes), the series will follow a Young Tracer as she zips through the streets of her hometown."
The series has officially launched with the release of Issue #1, the first of five issues. Issue #1 is available to read right now for free on the Dark Horse or Overwatch websites. The comic has been created in over 13 languages.
Issues #2 through #5 will come out monthly, so keep an eye out if you enjoyed Issue #1. The series will make its way to print copies with Issue #1 reaching comic store shelves on December 2, 2020.
In-game cosmetic goods
In addition to the comic series, Overwatch is running the Tracer Comic Challenge from now until September 28, 2020. Win games in Quick Play, Competitive Play, and Arcade modes to earn a player icon, spray, and the Comic Book Tracer skin. Watch Twitch streams to unlock more Tracer comic-themed sprays.
