A new year is almost upon us - but not before Pokémon GO gives us some end of year celebrations!
The Pokémon GO Winter Holiday event runs December 16-31 with a plethora of activities.

New game feature
A postcard book option will be available, giving trainers the ability to save memories from the locations you and your friends have visited.
GO Battle League - Holiday Cup
The Holiday Cup arrives during Season 10 of the GO Battle League.
Event bonuses
Costumed Pokémon
This is one of our favorite things about the seasonal events - costumed Pokémon! We've come a long way from one decorated Pikachu. You may encounter up to six different Pokémon with holiday decorations.
Avatar items, stickers and bundles
A new festive outfit will be available for sale in the shop. Holiday themed stickers will appear from PokéStops and gifts as well as be available in the shop. Festive bundles will also be for sale in the shop.
Encounters, raids and field research
A handful of Pokémon will be available in various ways: regular encounters in the wild or in raids as well as rewards for completing field research.
Community Day
The final Community Day event of the year will be held on December 18 and 19, featuring Pokémon from all of 2021's Community Day events. Additionally, Pokémon from the 2020 Community Day events will be hatching from eggs and showing up in raids.
Pokémon GO debuts
Say hello to Bergmite and Avalugg, making their appearances for the first time in the game.
PokéStop gift
Your first spin each day from December 23-31 will yield an egg incubator!
Winter Wonderland mini event
Log into the game on December 25 and 26 for ways to encounter the holiday Delibird and Galarian Mr. Mime.
