TWO Servings Of Sonic The Hedgehog: Sonic Frontier & Sonic The Hedgehog 2

Following the success of the first Sonic the Hedgehog movie, which while it may not have had the strongest script, managed to charm audiences with some of the performances of Ben Schwartz (the voice of Sonic) and Jim Carrey's Dr. Robotnik, along with its Saturday matinee feel. Its box office performance quickly warranted a sequel. The original cast returns, along with addition of Idris Elba as Knuckles the Echidna, guardian of the Chaos Emerald.

Sonic Frontiers

Sega will be hitting people with a double dose of the Blue Hedgehog, as Sonic Team will be striving for Sonic's first open-world based zone design. Sega reportedly cancelled Sonic Mania 2, perhaps in hopes of Sonic Frontiers not being overshadowed another work. With many of his more recent games teetering in the field of mediocre to bad in terms of fan reception, Frontiers may have a lot to prove.

Produced by Rocksteady Games, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League shows its gameplay trailer and how each villain's play style is reflected in the game. Explore The Matrix

Okay, it's more of a trailer for the upcoming Unreal Engine 5 than a traditional video game, (along with Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss pushing the new Matrix movie) but the Epic Games pushed Matrix Awakens shows off the future of how the new engine will aim to "blur the line between what's virtual and what's real".

Looking for more feedback on its upcoming sequel, SNK reveals a new King Of Fighters character, the enigmatic "Krohnen", as well as a second online beta test for players. The last one held a month ago was positively received, but came with its share of problems. Namely, the promise that a PS Plus membership wasn't required to access it was something that never happened. Whether there was a lack of communication on Sony or SNK's end is uncertain, but here's hoping for a slightly smoother access this time.

During the early months of coronavirus lockdown, the social deduction game became a smash hit and was a meme throughout 2020. It now gets the VR treatment, keeping its squatty technicians in super deformed mode. All of the same betrayal and deceit as the original game, but now in a virtual Skeld.

Dune: The Spice Wars, an RTS spinoff

Hey, remember when Dune once had a real-time strategy game back in 1998 during the height of the genre? Well, it's coming full circle 24 years later. The game will be available in early access in 2022, but an official release date has yet to be announced.
