With the year that Microsoft has faced, between the rolling out of Redfall and the Federal Trade Commission's efforts to block their bit-time acquisition of Activision Blizzard, now feels like the perfect time for some wackiness. With Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem landing in theaters very soon, Paramount Pictures and Xbox are teaming up with a limited time offer. Fans have a chance to acquire the first ever PIZZA SCENTED Xbox controller. 

The smell comes courtesy of a pizza-shaped scent diffuser, with four variations stylized with weapons, colors, and styles of Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael. When I first heard this, I had imagined that the technique of mixing scented chemicals into the outer shell of the Xbox controller mold, similar to how many scented toys were made. This is much more preferable.

This giveaway will run from July 24th to August 13th. fans can enter the contest by following Xbox Game Pass on Twitter and retweeting the official Xbox Game Pass sweepstakes tweet. You must be 18 years or older, and your account must be public, and is limited to ONE account. Fans in New York City will have a chance to see the controllers in person August 2nd at the Microsoft Experience Center on Fifth Avenue between 4pm-7pm.
