Activision Confirms Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Will Be A Full Game, Priced At $70

Back in February, Activision had initially reported that its next Call of Duty, Modern Warfare 3, was going to be an expansive DLC add-on to Modern Warfare 2. Following the reveal trailer featuring the return of antagonist Makarov, the publisher/developer clarified that MW3, which became a project so robust, they decided to have it become a standalone premium game.

The news was clarified in numerous Activision Blizzard quarterly conference calls that the game will also be priced at retail at $70USD, following the trend of high-end AAA games increasing their monetary value. Being a direct sequel, Modern Warfare 3 is expected to feature multiplayer, a single player campaign, and zombies.

Modern Warfare 3's full official reveal will take place August 17th within Warzone, and during the event, players will have a chance to earn key rewards and special items. Activision also stated that your acquired items from Modern Warfare 2 will carry over to 3, including weapons, cosmetics, bundles, and operators. It's surprising to learn that it will be coming to the Xbox One and PS4.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 has a release date set for November 10th, 2023 for the PlayStation 5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
