Jump FORCE is an arena fighting game with the all-star lineup from many of the manga and anime characters featured in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump coming together to celebrate the publication's 50th anniversary in a 3D clash that was released in 2018. With notable personalities from series such as Fist of the North Star, Death Note, Dragonball Z, City Hunter, One Piece and My Hero Academia, the roster boasted 57 total playable characters.

It appears though that its days are numbered. Bandai Namco released a statement clarifying Jump FORCE will be delisted from digital storefronts, including all virtual currency and DLC, on February 7, 2022, with most server support ending in August.

"Today, we are announcing the end of Jump Force’s availability through digital purchase in the Americas. Jump Force will cease to be available for base game, DLCs and virtual currency purchase on 2/7/2022 at 5:00pm PST for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.

Additionally, some of the Jump Force online service servers will be sunsetting on 8/24/2022; however, all single player functions will continue to be playable locally on your home console or PC, as well as PVP battle, except the Ranked Match mode."

Our sincere thanks goes out to all Jump Force players and fans for their support; but with all good things, they must come to an end.

Along with Ranked matches, access to clan functions, lobbies, and leaderboards will go down as well. Single player content like campaign mode will still be available.

Though reviews for were considered average, its initial launch sales were fairly strong, debuting in the top 4 in North America, behind Resident Evil 2, Kingdom Hearts III, and Anthem. It also sold over 500,000 copies via Steam as of 2020. Sales slowed down, but Jump FORCE had maintained a strong community over the time of its run.
